Specialist’s Overview
I provide a collaborative and skills-based approach, utilizing CBT, DBT, and EMDR-informed techniques to help young adults and adults navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma. My experience working with college counseling centers has taught me that feeling overwhelmed is a universal experience, and reaching out for support is a true sign of strength. I strive to create an affirming, non-judgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and ready to take practical steps toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. My approach is supportive and action-oriented, drawing from a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). We will focus on building a personalized toolkit of concrete skills for coping with intense emotions, managing stress, and improving your sense of self and your relationships. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and our two puppies, finding peace in nature, or decompressing with video games and putting together Lego sets. I bring that same patient, focused, and collaborative energy into our sessions to help you build the sustainable life you want.
