We are pleased to announce that our team members Derek J Lee and Paul Granello, together with co-authors Seth Robinson and Darcy Haag Granello, have published a new peer-reviewed article:

“Suicidal Stabilization: Understanding and Defining Stabilization”

The article appears in the Online Journal of Complementary & Alternative Medicine (OJCAM), Volume 9, Issue 1, published on February 13, 2026.

In this review article, the authors conduct a systematic analysis of existing literature and propose a clear, standardized definition of suicidal stabilization, along with a practical four-tier clinical framework (Crisis – Reprieve – Stabilization – Resolution) to improve communication and continuity of care in suicide prevention.
